तीसरे दिन भारत को मिली बड़ी लीड, श्रीलंका ने दूसरी इनिंग में गंवाया एक विकेट

नागपुर.श्रीलंका के खिलाफ दूसरे टेस्ट मैच का तीसरा दिन पूरी तरह से इंडियन प्लेयर्स के नाम रहा। इस दौरान पहले इंडियन बैट्समैन ने जबरदस्त बैटिंग की और फिर दिन का खेल खत्म होने तक मेहमान टीम का एक विकेट भी गिरा दिया। तीसरे दिन भारत ने 6 विकेट पर 610 रन बनाकर पहली इनिंग डिक्लेयर कर दी। पहली इनिंग में उसे 405 रन की लीड मिली। जवाब में दिन का खेल खत्म होने तक श्रीलंका ने दूसरी इनिंग में 1 विकेट खोकर 21 रन बना लिए थे। वो अब भी भारत से 384 रन पीछे है। स्टम्प्स तक दिमुथ करुणारत्ने (11) और लाहिरू थिरिमाने (9) क्रीज पर थे। ऐसी रही भारत की पहली इनिंग...

- मेजबान टीम की ओर से पहली इनिंग में ओपनिंग करने उतरे मुरली विजय ने सेन्चुरी लगाते हुए 128 रन बनाए। उनके अलावा पुजारा ने 143, विराट ने 213 और रोहित शर्मा ने 102* रन की इनिंग खेली।

- तीसरे दिन रोहित की सेन्चुरी पूरी होने के साथ ही भारत ने 6 विकेट पर 610 रन बनाकर पहली इनिंग डिक्लेयर कर दी।

- मेहमान टीम की ओर से दिलरुवान परेरा ने 3, तो दासुन शनाका, रंगना हेराथ और लाहिरू गमागे ने 1-1 विकेट लिया।

- इससे पहले मैच के दूसरे दिन स्टम्प्स तक मेजबान टीम ने 2 विकेट पर 312 रन बनाए थे। मैच में पहले दिन श्रीलंका की पूरी टीम पहली इनिंग में 205 रन पर आउट हो गई थी।

तीसरे दिन ऐसे गिरे भारत के विकेट

- मैच के तीसरे दिन भारत ने 312/2 रन से आगे खेलना शुरू किया। मेजबान टीम को तीसरा झटका चेतेश्वर पुजारा (143) के रूप में लगा। जो 124.5 ओवर में दासुन शनाका की बॉल पर बोल्ड हो गए।

- चौथा विकेट अजिंक्य रहाणे (2) के रूप में गिरा। 129.4 ओवर में वे दिलरुवान परेरा की बॉल पर उन्हें दिमुथ करुणारत्ने ने कैच कर लिया। इस वक्त टीम का स्कोर 410 रन था।

- Pujara completed his 100 runs on 246 balls. This is the 14th of his Test career and the fourth Century against Sri Lanka.

पुजारा ने बनाया अनोखा रिकॉर्ड

- मैच के तीसरे दिन क्रीज पर उतरते ही चेतेश्वर पुजारा ने एक अनोखा रिकॉर्ड बना दिया। वे टेस्ट क्रिकेट में लगातार आठ दिन बैटिंग करने वाले पहले भारतीय क्रिकेटर बन गए।
- पुजारा ने कोलकाता में हुए सीरीज के पहले टेस्ट मैच में पांचों दिन बैटिंग की थी। नागपुर में तीसरे दिन बैटिंग करने उतरते ही उन्होंने लगातार 8 दिन बैटिंग करने का इंडियन रिकॉर्ड बना दिया।

एलनलैंब की बराबरी की

- अबतक सिर्फ इंग्लैंड के एलन लैंब ही लगातार आठ दिन बैटिंग कर पाए थे। उन्होंने साल 1984 में वेस्ट इंडीज के खिलाफ टेस्ट सीरीज में लगातार आठ दिन बल्लेबाजी की थी।
- ज्योफ्री बायकॉट और एंड्रयू फ्लिंटॉफ ने टेस्ट मैच में लगातार सात दिन बैटिंग की है।
